Karen Latham

Karen Latham is an American painter, residing in Hastings, Minnesota.[1] The artist is most known for her paintings of wildlife in realism painted in the style of miniature.[1]

The artist's painting was selected for the 2008 Illinois Conservation Stamp.[2] Latham has been named "artist of the year" by conservation organizations,[3] is a member of many art and wildlife societies and is a signature member of the Society of animal artists.[1] Latham's paintings have been shown in the Nature in Art museum (UK), Hiram Blauvelt museum, and the Gilcrease museum.[3] Her artwork has been featured in numerous art publications[1] including Wildlife Art magazine[4][5] and Wildscape Magazine.[6]

Her artwork was used to illustrate children's books.[7][8]

Karen Latham's daughters, Bonnie Latham and Rebecca Latham are also artists.
